Fiddler Crab underneath the boardwalk at HK Wetlands (by now you can tell that I really really like HK Wetlands Park, I also really really like the fact that Amy likes it. Let see if she likes it after the 12 visit in 12 weeks?!)
Two male Mudskippers fighting it out. Could have spent all day watching them.
Small fishing island of Cheung Chau. We really enjoyed a day here and will be going back. Lots of seafood sold here, including stingray and urinating shrimp (I promise they are called that, its to do with the yellow liquid they leak when being cooked. Delicious though). Its a massive contrast to Hong Kong and its only 30 mins away.
The Praya in Cheung Chau. Praya is a Portuguese word meaning sea-side road, the Portuguese were the first to settle onto many of the islands around Hong Kong.
Dry seafood is as important as Soy in Hong Kong, we watched a man pain-stakingly hang individual shrimp on the mesh.
Everybody loves a topiary Ying Yang
We'll put more pics up aound the same time next week. Lots of love, Jim and Aim x
